HRS and Element 2 link up to turbocharge hydrogen mobility in UK

HRS has joined forces with Element 2 and will supply and install its next-generation HRS14 station at Teesside International Airport.

Element 2 is building the UK and Ireland’s first large-scale national hydrogen refuelling station network, striving to meet growing demand from commercial fleet operators, private individuals and businesses looking to embrace zero emission mobility.

This continues to develop with HRS set to supply and maintain a HRS14 station that has a capacity of 14kg per hour. The bi-pressure station will be supplied with green hydrogen and refuel a range of long-term trials with commercial vans, passenger cars and airside support vehicles.

Tim Harper, Founder and CEO at Element 2, commented: “Element 2 is building the first national scaled network of reliable, safe, high-quality hydrogen refuelling stations and distribution infrastructure across the UK, and HRS’s next generation station will help us deliver on this.”
