Hydrogen Week UK is set to return for a third year, continuing to showcase the UK’s hydrogen potential and the key role it will play in reaching net zero.
Spearheaded by the North West Hydrogen Alliance (NWHA), Hydrogen Week is scheduled to run from 24 February to 2 March in 2025. Hydrogen East is once more a leading partner alongside Hydrogen UK, Net Zero Industry Wales, Hydrogen South West, the Hydrogen Energy Association and Capital Hydrogen, with the aim to unit hydrogen regions across the UK.
Organisations across the UK are now being invited to take part and host hydrogen-themed events, activities and campaigns. The 2024 edition saw workshops and university exhibitions, science experiments and virtual reality demonstrations, and even a hydrogen-powered rocket launch. The 2025 installment wants to now go even further, engaging a wider audience to build on last year’s participation.
Hydrogen East held a series of roadshows across Norfolk and Suffolk last year, supported by Opergy Net Zero, and will unveil plans for 2025 in due course.
A series of events and activities are due to be held in the run up to Hydrogen Week 2025. This will include a webinar on 12 November, bringing together the regional clusters to discuss their plans for 2025, as well as what the new government can do to support hydrogen collaboration.
