Hydrogen East is pleased to announce it will be a media partner for the forthcoming Foresight Event next week.
Held from 4-5 February in Liverpool, the Foresight Event is where the UK’s energy transition connects as leaders from across industry and policy come together and explore what needs to happen next.
A busy agenda spans all of the big technologies, delving into key issues such as grid modernisation, industrial decarbonisation, financing net zero, offshore innovation, and the race to decarbonise transport and data.
Hydrogen is one of the conference sessions and scheduled for 5 February, kicking off with a presentation from Emma Bezuidenhout, Head of Hydrogen at the Low Carbon Contracts Company, on the role of contracts in scaling low carbon hydrogen.
This will be followed with a panel discussion where representatives from Equinor, Holcim, RES, Meld Energy and RWE explore what needs to happen now to accelerate the development of a comprehensive UK hydrogen market.
A busy morning will then wrap up with a look at innovation at the edge of the hydrogen economy by Simon Morris, co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer at HiiROC.
Co-founder of Hydrogen East, Johnathan Reynolds, will be attending the event and report back on some of the key takeaways.
