UK businesses in the South West are being encouraged to collaborate with Korean innovators in the field of hydrogen mobility.
On 3 November, Business West announced that it had entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Korean Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC). Under the agreement, the pair will identify, support and connect manufacturers and innovators to share expertise, initiate collaborative R&D projects, and accelerate the joint development of hydrogen mobility.
Business West noted how South Korea is already on track to become a world leader in hydrogen mobility. It has a strategy to achieve 6.2mn hydrogen powered vehicles on its roads by 2040, adding 43trn won (£29bn) to the South Korean economy.
